Portsmouth Police Department #18 (2011)
This 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was purchased by the City of Portsmouth, New Hampshire in June 2011 and used as a patrol vehicle. This unit, Cruiser 18, was in service as a standard patrol unit it was transferred to School Resource Officer duty and then road detail duty. In January 2025, it was removed from service with only 70k miles and donated to the Museum with the approval of the Newport Police Commission and City Council.
We are currently in the process of a few repairs and paperwork to completed the transfer to a California title.
This vehicle is equipped with a Whelen Liberty lightbar, (rear deck lights), Whelen 295SDA1 controller, Unity spotlights, and Motorola XLT5000 radio.
Cruiser 18 was generously donated to the Museum by Chief Newport, Deputy Chief Maloney, the Police Commission and the City of Portsmouth.
